Construction Superintendent
Job Description
We have an outstanding career opportunity for aConstruction Superintendentto join a leading Company located in theHouston, TXsurrounding area.
We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial ground-up construction projects. This individual will lead on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards from preconstruction through project completion.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel.
+ Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain schedules and quality expectations.
+ Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA and company standards).
+ Track daily progress, manage schedules, and report to the Project Manager.
+ Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specification s.
+ Conduct regular site meetings and inspections to review progress and resolve issues.
+ Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineer s.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
+ Proven ability to manage ground-up projects and complex construction schedules.
+ In-depth knowledge of building systems, codes, safety standards, and construction methods.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills.
+ OSHA 30 certification preferred.
+ Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus.
