SRE Engineer

Overview

Genesis10 is currently seeking an SRE Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role focuses on ensuring system reliability and uptime for critical applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and automating operational tasks to improve system performance, scalability, and availability while supporting CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor applications and infrastructure to ensure system reliability and uptime
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Automate operational tasks using scripts or tools
• Improve system performance, scalability, and availability
• Support deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Work with development teams to ensure applications are production-ready
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions

• Linux/Unix system administration
• Scripting or programming (Python, Bash, Go, or Java)
• Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
• Container tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk

Pay range: $60.42 - $68.42 per hour
