Our client is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Planning & Procurement who will lead demand planning, supply planning, procurement, inbound logistics, and the management of domestic and international third-party suppliers and manufacturers. This role is responsible for ensuring the right inventory is available in the right location at the right time by establishing a disciplined, forward-looking S&OP process and strong cross-functional alignment. Key responsibilities include supply planning, purchase order execution, supplier coordination, inbound shipments to warehouses, and oversight of freight partners, customs brokers, and import processes. The role drives supplier performance through clear expectations, performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across quality, cost, delivery, and resilience. Success requires strong execution discipline, proactive communication across teams and time zones, and the ability to build, lead, and develop a high-performing supply chain team in a fast-paced environment. This role is fully onsite in the PDX area and offering a salary of $150-160k/yr.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or other comparable degree.
5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, logistics, or operations
Experience managing domestic and international suppliers, contract manufacturers, and purchase orders
Strong background in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and inbound logistics
Experience coordinating international shipments, import processes, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
Understanding of shipping documentation, customs clearance, Incoterms, and warehouse receiving processes
Experience with supplier performance management, sourcing, and contract or commercial negotiations
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across the business
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear updates and set expectations effectively
Comfortable working across multiple teams, partners, and time zones
Experience scaling operations during growth, system changes, or integration. ERP, MRP or inventory systems experience preferred
Strong Excel skills; BI tools a plus.
