Data Center Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to lead infrastructure deployments and buildouts in a large-scale, high-performance environment. This role will focus on coordinating end-to-end delivery of data center projects, including hardware deployment, networking, and facility readiness.
This is a handson role for someone who understands how data centers are actually built and operatednot just a general IT project manager.
Key Responsibilities- Manage endtoend data center deployment projects (rack/stack, cabling, power, cooling, networking)
- Coordinate crossfunctional teams including engineering, operations, vendors, and field technicians
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Identify risks, manage issues, and drive resolution across teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to technical requirements
- Interface with stakeholders and provide regular status updates
- Support large-scale infrastructure rollouts and migrations
- 510+ years of project management experience
- Strong understanding of
- Data center environments
- Hardware deployments (servers, networking gear)
- Cabling, power, and physical infrastructure
- Proven experience coordinating multiple teams and vendors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with hyperscale or large enterprise environments
- Exposure to AI / GPU infrastructure or highperformance computing (HPC)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (leafspine, switching, etc.)
- PMP, Agile, or similar certification
- Project managers who understand both technical and operational aspects of data center delivery
- Ability to operate in fastpaced, highvisibility environments
- Strong ownership mindsetdrives projects, doesnt just track them
- Comfortable working onsite and coordinating field activities
This role requires handson data center project experience.
Candidates with only software development or noninfrastructure project management experience will not be considered.
