Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. This role involves working closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to optimize cloud environments and support business applications in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud environments
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployments
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner
- Maintain documentation of cloud architecture and processes
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and cloud architecture
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of security principles and identity/access management (IAM)
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional Engineer)
- Experience with serverless architecture and microservices
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
- Experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
