- Analyze potential real estate acquisition and disposition opportunities across various property types.
- Develop comprehensive financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, pro forma statements, and sensitivity analysis.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess property value, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Perform due diligence on prospective investments, including property inspections, lease abstracting, and title review.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and provide regular reports on asset management activities.
- Identify opportunities for value enhancement and cost optimization within the portfolio.
- Stay abreast of economic, market, and regulatory changes affecting the real estate industry.
- Collaborate with internal teams, brokers, legal counsel, and other external parties.
- Assist in sourcing new deals and building relationships with sellers and intermediaries.
- Maintain and update databases of investment comparables and market data.
- Support the negotiation and closing process for real estate transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, acquisitions, or asset management.
- Proven proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques specific to real estate.
- Strong understanding of real estate markets, property types, and investment strategies.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and complex model building.
- Experience with Argus Enterprise or similar real estate analysis software is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and thrive in a remote work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with CRM software and real estate databases.
