Senior Account Executive - Enterprise Software Sales

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Account Executive to join their growing sales team. This is a fully remote, field-based position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US, with a primary focus on driving new business acquisition within the enterprise sector. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging with C-level executives and key decision-makers at target organizations to present innovative software solutions that address critical business challenges. Success in this role hinges on a proactive approach to prospecting, a deep understanding of complex sales cycles, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas for enterprise software solutions.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through various channels, including cold outreach, networking, and leveraging marketing leads.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and articulate the value proposition of our software to potential clients, tailoring presentations to specific industry needs and pain points.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT leaders, business unit managers, and C-level executives.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, marketing teams, and customer success managers to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities and maintain detailed records in the CRM system.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Participate in industry events, webinars, and conferences to expand professional networks and generate leads.
- Proven track record of success in enterprise software sales, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a closing sales role, preferably within SaaS or technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions to multiple stakeholders within large organizations.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling methodologies and sales funnel management.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
