Remote Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable machine learning models and systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to translate algorithms into production-ready code.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, ML infrastructure, and MLOps processes.
• Optimize machine learning models for performance, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Conduct experiments, perform statistical analysis, and interpret results to drive model improvements.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and AI technologies.
• Develop and implement best practices for ML development, testing, and deployment.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into existing products and services.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
• Ensure the responsible and ethical development of AI systems.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or a related role.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
• Proven experience in building and deploying ML models into production environments.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark) is a plus.
• A portfolio of ML projects or contributions to open-source ML libraries is a strong asset.
