Remote Cybersecurity Training Specialist

Our client, a forward-thinking organization dedicated to professional development, is actively seeking a highly skilled and passionate Remote Cybersecurity Training Specialist. This role is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective cybersecurity training programs to a diverse audience, ranging from entry-level employees to seasoned IT professionals. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the cybersecurity posture of our client's workforce and their partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive cybersecurity training curricula, including content, materials, and assessments, tailored to various skill levels and roles.
• Create engaging training materials such as presentations, e-learning modules, workshops, webinars, and hands-on labs.
• Deliver cybersecurity training sessions virtually through various platforms, ensuring high levels of participant engagement and knowledge retention.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and up-to-date.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather input and validate training content.
• Manage the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) for course deployment, tracking, and reporting.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to trainees, answering questions and addressing concerns related to cybersecurity.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the cybersecurity training strategy and offerings.
• Promote a strong cybersecurity awareness culture throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing and delivering cybersecurity training or a closely related field.
• Proven expertise in various cybersecurity domains such as network security, endpoint security, cloud security, incident response, and data privacy.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISM are highly desirable.
• Experience in content creation for virtual learning environments.
• A passion for teaching and empowering others with cybersecurity knowledge.
