Our client, a reputable general contractor, is seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent to manage on-site operations for various projects in Boise, Idaho, US . This role is critical for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for direct supervision of field operations, coordination of subcontractors, and adherence to all project plans and specifications. This is an essential, on-site position requiring a strong presence and leadership on the job site.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all daily on-site construction activities, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, labor, and material deliveries.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly.
- Manage site logistics, including temporary facilities, equipment, and waste disposal.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and progress reports.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
- Manage site security and ensure the protection of company and client assets.
- Perform final inspections and assist with project closeout procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role on construction sites.
- Proven experience managing various types of construction projects (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial).
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software is desirable.
- Valid driver's license.
- OSHA 30 certification is required.
