Senior Social Worker - Remote
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join their fully remote team. This role is dedicated to providing vital support and case management services to individuals and families in need, leveraging technology to connect and deliver care remotely. You will play a critical role in assessing client needs, developing intervention plans, coordinating resources, and advocating for clients' well-being. This position requires a strong understanding of social work principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and effectively in a virtual environment.

- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans in collaboration with clients.
- Provide counseling and supportive interventions to individuals, families, and groups.

- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary support systems.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical standards and agency policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, community agencies, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Mentor and supervise junior social workers and interns, offering guidance and professional development.
- Stay current with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
- Participate in virtual team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
- Utilize telehealth platforms and other digital tools to deliver services effectively.
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or equivalent licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-MSW experience in direct social work practice.
- Demonstrated experience in case management, counseling, and advocacy.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other digital case management systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage a remote caseload.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain professional boundaries in a remote setting.
- A dedicated home office space with reliable high-speed internet access.
- Commitment to social justice, ethical practice, and client empowerment.
- Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
