Job Description
Our client, a globally recognized manufacturing leader, is actively seeking a strategic Remote Procurement & Supply Chain Strategist. This role is fully remote, enabling you to optimize global supply chains from your own workspace. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies, driving cost savings, enhancing supplier relationships, and ensuring the resilience and efficiency of the entire supply chain.

- Analyze global supply chain networks to identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and risk mitigation.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for key materials and services.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, fostering partnerships that drive mutual benefit and innovation.
- Implement best practices in inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting to optimize working capital and ensure product availability.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and geopolitical factors to anticipate potential disruptions and develop proactive mitigation plans.
- Utilize advanced analytics and data visualization tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, finance, product development, and sales, to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain, promoting ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility.
- Implement and optimize procurement technology solutions, such as e-procurement platforms and ERP systems.
- Lead cross-functional teams in complex projects, such as new product introductions or global expansion efforts, in a remote setting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to procurement and supply chain operations.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management, with a strong emphasis on strategy development.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful cost-saving initiatives and supply chain optimization programs.
- Deep understanding of global sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.
- Expertise in supply chain planning, logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and advanced analytical tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, crucial for effective remote collaboration.
- Experience in managing international supply chains and understanding of global trade dynamics.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a remote environment.
