Principal AI Research Scientist (Remote)

• Define and lead ambitious research projects in areas of AI and machine learning.

• Design and implement experiments to validate research hypotheses.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract insights and drive model improvements.
• Publish research findings in leading AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL, etc.) and journals.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate research outcomes into impactful AI solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior researchers and engineers.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI research and identify new research opportunities.
• Contribute to patent applications for novel inventions.
• Present research findings to internal stakeholders and external audiences.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of post-graduate research experience in AI/ML, with a strong publication record.
• Expertise in one or more subfields of AI (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, generative models).
• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Strong mathematical and statistical foundation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting complex technical concepts.
• Experience translating research into production-level systems is a significant plus.
