- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of automotive software components and systems.
- Architect robust and scalable software solutions that meet stringent automotive requirements for safety, performance, and reliability.
- Mentor and guide a team of software engineers, fostering best practices in coding, testing, and version control.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers, to define software requirements and specifications.
- Develop and maintain software in compliance with automotive standards (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).
- Implement and optimize algorithms for areas such as sensor fusion, path planning, and control systems for autonomous driving.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in both simulation and real-world vehicle environments.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the automotive software domain.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a significant focus on automotive applications.
- Strong expertise in C/C++ programming languages and embedded systems development.
- Proven experience with automotive software architectures and frameworks (e.g., AUTOSAR).
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) commonly used in automotive applications.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
- Experience with AI/ML applications in automotive is a plus.
