Our client, a rapidly growing technology startup specializing in innovative SaaS solutions, is seeking a motivated and aspiring Junior Full-Stack Developer for a fully remote, apprenticeship-style internship in San Jose, California, US . This is an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience across the entire software development lifecycle, working closely with our experienced engineering team. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge web applications and learn best practices in both front-end and back-end development.
As a Junior Full-Stack Developer, you will participate in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of web applications. You will work with various programming languages, frameworks, and tools, including but not limited to JavaScript (React, Node.js), Python (Django/Flask), HTML5, CSS3, and SQL databases. Your responsibilities will include developing user-friendly front-end interfaces, building robust back-end APIs and services, and integrating third-party services. You will collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement scalable and efficient code. Emphasis will be placed on writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Key tasks involve assisting in the creation of new features, troubleshooting and resolving bugs reported by QA or users, and contributing to database design and management. You will also participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality. This role offers significant learning opportunities, including exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern CI/CD pipelines. We are looking for someone eager to learn, adaptable, and passionate about building high-quality software. This fully remote position requires strong self-discipline, excellent time management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a virtual environment.
