Our client, a leading developer of sustainable urban infrastructure, is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Lead Remote Construction Project Manager to oversee critical projects from inception to completion. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage complex construction initiatives from anywhere in the US. You will be instrumental in driving project success through meticulous planning, effective resource allocation, and strong stakeholder management. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, execution, and closeout.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards.
  • Manage and coordinate all project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
  • Conduct regular remote site inspections and progress reviews using virtual tools and reporting mechanisms.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
  • Manage client communications, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and any potential challenges.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Approve project-related invoices and manage project expenditures to stay within budget.
  • Implement and utilize project management software for tracking progress, managing documents, and facilitating team collaboration.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive remote team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a significant portion managing large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience in managing remote teams and projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems and make sound decisions.
  • Must possess a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
