You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve delivery times, and ensure the seamless flow of goods across our international operations. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, strategic foresight, and the ability to lead and inspire remote teams. - Develop and implement a comprehensive global logistics and supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Optimize transportation networks, including freight forwarding, last-mile delivery, and international shipping, to achieve cost-efficiency and timely deliveries.
- Analyze and improve inventory management practices to minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability.
- Design and manage warehousing and distribution strategies, including network design and operational efficiency.
- Leverage advanced analytics and data visualization tools to monitor supply chain performance, identify trends, and forecast demand.
- Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of logistics and supply chain professionals.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Sales, Procurement) and external partners (e.g., carriers, 3PLs) to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Identify and implement innovative technologies and process improvements to enhance supply chain visibility and resilience.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for the logistics and supply chain functions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record in strategic leadership roles.
- Extensive experience with global supply chain operations, international trade, and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Proficiency in supply chain planning and optimization software, and advanced analytical tools.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, complex supply chain networks.
- Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills, with experience managing remote teams.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce fulfillment and distribution models.
- Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
