**This Opportunity**
WSP is currently seeking a mid-level Site Civil Engineer to join our team supporting the electrical utility and renewable energy service areas. Our department specializes in high-performing projects with a focus on the future. This position will be based in our Cincinnati, OH office with the ability to work in a hybrid setting, a combination of home and office, or remotely from the Cincinnati area.
**Your Impact**
You'll be asked to support grading and drainage/stormwater management design for new and existing electrical utility sites, and renewable energy sites (solar, wind, battery storage), as well as access road design, permitting, and construction support.
Prepare and review engineering deliverables in support of civil/site engineering projects:
+ AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
+ Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
+ Stormwater management calculations, design, and modeling
+ Floodplain modeling and analysis
+ Site layout, grading, drainage designs, and drawings
+ Bill of materials
+ Construction specifications
+ Perform detailed engineering reviews of the work submitted by others
+ Provide mentorship and guidance to others.
+ Coordinate regularly with the Project Engineer/Manager to ensure project scope, budget, and quality expectations are met
**Who You Are**
+ BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) degree from an accredited university
+ Engineer-In-Training Certification
+ Experience in site design for utilities, industrial facilities, municipal infrastructure, storm drainage and stormwater management design, site grading, roadway, and utility design, sanitary sewer design and analysis, construction specification development and development of construction bid packages
+ AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience
+ Four (4) to eight (8) + years of experience in civil site/design as outlined above
+ The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel
+ Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite
**Preferred Education/Experience**
+ Professional Engineering License, with NCEES Record and state reciprocity or ability to receive PE License within 1 year
+ Stormwater management and hydraulic modeling software (HydroCAD, SWMM, HEC-RAS, etc.) experience in drainage, detention and stormwater conveyance
+ Electric utility substation design experience is a plus
