Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Energy Systems Engineer to join their innovative and growing team. Responsibilities will encompass conducting detailed technical analyses, performing system modeling and simulations, and developing innovative engineering solutions to meet project requirements. You will lead the technical aspects of energy projects, from conceptualization through to implementation and commissioning. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and deliverables, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. The Senior Energy Systems Engineer will also be responsible for authoring technical reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, and providing mentorship to junior engineers. Your work will directly contribute to advancing clean energy technologies and improving energy efficiency on a large scale.
Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on power systems or renewable energy. A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in energy systems engineering is essential, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex energy projects. Expertise in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP), renewable energy technologies (solar, wind), and energy storage solutions is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are mandatory. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting is crucial for success in this role.
