Job Description

Our client, a highly acclaimed hospitality group, is looking for a dedicated and personable Guest Services Manager to join their team at a premier property in Salt Lake City, Utah, US . This role is essential in ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. You will lead the front desk and concierge teams, manage guest relations, and uphold the highest standards of service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the front desk, concierge, and bell staff.
  • Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Train, motivate, and supervise guest services staff to deliver outstanding performance.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Implement and maintain service standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Manage guest reservation systems and ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments (Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements based on reviews and surveys.
  • Prepare daily reports on front office activities and financial performance.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of guest information.
  • Maintain a professional and appealing appearance of the lobby and front desk area.
  • Assist with scheduling and staff allocation to ensure adequate coverage.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or guest services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and reservation software.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a guest-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and services is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
