**Director of Engineering**

**Position Overview**
As the Director of Engineering, you will:
- Lead engineering operations to drive world-class manufacturing performance
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Leadership to execute strategic initiatives
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost performance
- Build and develop high-performing engineering teams
**Key Responsibilities**
**Engineering Leadership**
- Lead and manage engineering teams across multiple disciplines
- Drive accountability, performance, and cross-functional collaboration
**Strategic Planning & Execution**
- Develop short- and long-term engineering strategies
- Set priorities and ensure alignment with business goals
**Capital & Budget Management**
- Oversee capital projects from concept through completion
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
**Operational Performance & Optimization**
- Analyze data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput
- Implement solutions that enhance overall plant performance
**Automation & Innovation**
- Identify and implement new technologies and automation strategies
- Support modernization and scalability initiatives
**Asset Management**
- Evaluate equipment performance and lifecycle
- Optimize asset utilization and replacement planning
**Team Leadership & Development**
- Mentor and develop engineering talent
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Partner with Operations, Safety, HR, and other teams
- Solve complex production and engineering challenges
**Compliance & Standards**
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and engineering standards
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams
- Strong background in capital projects, process improvement, and engineering operations
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
**Preferred Experience**
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Experience in food, beverage, or regulated manufacturing
- Background in high-volume production environments
**Pay Details:** $180,000.00 to $188,250.00 per year
