Our client is seeking a highly motivated Early Childhood Educator to join their vibrant educational team in Seattle, Washington, US . This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on children's lives through engaging and enriching activities. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum that stimulates cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. This includes developing and leading creative arts programs such as painting, music, drama, and storytelling, ensuring a fun and educational environment for children aged 3-5.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing and executing daily lesson plans that align with early childhood education best practices.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Observing and assessing children's progress, documenting observations, and communicating with parents/guardians regularly.
  • Managing classroom behavior positively and effectively.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop program enhancements and share best practices.
  • Ensuring adherence to all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Maintaining open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on their child's development and involvement in classroom activities.
  • Organizing and conducting parent-teacher conferences.
  • Fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and techniques.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience working with preschool-aged children. Strong knowledge of child development theories and creative arts integration is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required. CPR and First Aid certification are mandatory. This role requires a proactive approach, a genuine love for children, and the ability to inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
