Job Description

Our client, a leading provider of commercial and residential building services, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Lead HVAC Installation Manager to oversee their installation operations in Austin, Texas, US . This role is critical for ensuring the successful and efficient execution of HVAC system installations, from initial planning to final handover. The Lead HVAC Installation Manager will be responsible for managing installation teams, scheduling projects, ensuring quality workmanship, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining client satisfaction. You will play a key role in project estimation, resource allocation, and troubleshooting installation challenges. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing and supervising all HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
  • Scheduling and coordinating installation crews and project timelines to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensuring all installations are performed according to design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Conducting site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Estimating labor and material costs for new installation projects.
  • Procuring necessary materials and equipment for installations.
  • Training and mentoring installation technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any installation-related issues or challenges that arise.
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Managing warranty claims and ensuring post-installation client satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship in HVAC preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC installation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of various HVAC systems (residential and commercial).
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the construction/installation industry.
  • Experience with project scheduling and resource management.
  • Ability to conduct site assessments and provide accurate project estimates.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • EPA Universal Certification is required.
