Urgent Care - Duluth, Minnesota Permanent Position QUICK SNAPSHOT
* Position Type: Permanent
* Setting: Urgent Care (multiple sites)
* Location: Duluth, MN (Northeastern Minnesota)
* Population Served: Adults & Pediatrics
* Service Area: 460,000
* City Population: 90,000
SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
* Shift Lengths: 12-hour, 8-hour, and 4-hour shifts
* Scheduling: Flexible; calendar set 3-6 months in advance
* Clinic Hours:
* Weekdays: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
* Weekends: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
* Patients per Day:
* Low volume: 35
* High volume: 70 CLINICAL SCOPE
* Acute walk-in care for adults and pediatrics
* Respiratory illnesses
* Minor injuries and procedures:
* Laceration repair
* Incision & drainage
* Foreign body removal
* Musculoskeletal injuries requiring imaging and splinting
* Non-life-threatening trauma
* Workers' compensation cases IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Flexible, team-oriented provider
* Comfortable working in multiple urgent care settings
* Strong multitasking and critical thinking skills
* Strong interpersonal and team-based care approach
* Comfortable with:
* Suturing
* Splinting
* Leadership skills or interest a plus LICENSE & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
* Board Certified / Board Eligible:
* Family Practice or Emergency Medicine
* Required Certification:
* Current BLS SUPPORT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
* Excellent specialist and ancillary support
* Collegial, experienced urgent care staff
* Team-based care model with Credentialed Practitioners
