Senior AI/ML Engineer - Remote

Our client is actively seeking a talented and experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer to join their cutting-edge technology team. This is a fully remote position, allowing exceptional candidates to work from anywhere in the United States. You will play a pivotal role in the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models and artificial intelligence solutions that drive innovation and solve complex business challenges. This role demands a strong theoretical foundation in machine learning, deep practical experience in building and scaling ML systems, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, train, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms for various applications, including predictive analytics, natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to define AI/ML project requirements and deliverables.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines for model training and evaluation.
• Implement and optimize ML models for production environments, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
• Conduct rigorous experimentation and evaluation of ML algorithms to identify the most effective solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in AI and machine learning, and propose innovative applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for ML models, processes, and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the AI/ML community within the organization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ML model performance and deployment.
• Contribute to the ethical development and deployment of AI technologies.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML Ops practices.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in leading ML projects and mentoring teams.
