Remote Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Remote Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to bolster their cybersecurity defense capabilities. This fully remote position is instrumental in proactively identifying, analyzing, and disseminating actionable intelligence on emerging cyber threats, adversaries, and attack vectors targeting our organization and industry. You will be responsible for collecting and processing threat data from various sources, conducting in-depth analysis to understand threat actor methodologies, motivations, and capabilities, and developing comprehensive threat reports and alerts. The ideal candidate possesses a profound understanding of the global threat landscape, advanced persistent threats (APTs), malware, and cybercrime trends. Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms, open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques, and data analysis tools is crucial. You will collaborate closely with incident response, security operations, and engineering teams to translate intelligence into effective defensive strategies and recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for conveying complex threat information to technical and executive audiences. A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. A minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specific focus on threat intelligence, is essential. Relevant certifications such as GIAC Certified Intelligence (GCTI) or similar are highly valued.
