Bartender

Job Title: Bartender / Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and energetic individual to join our team as a Bartender / Cook. This dual role requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service while preparing both food and beverages. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong multitasking skills and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
Bartending Duties:

* Greet and serve customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
* Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes.
* Maintain knowledge of drink menus, daily specials, and customer preferences.
* Check identification to verify age requirements.
* Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized.
* Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate tabs.
* Open / Close responsibilities as needed.

Cooking Duties:

* Prepare, cook, and present menu items in accordance with recipes and standards.
* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness of cooking stations, kitchen tools, and food prep areas.
* Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
* Assist in inventory management, including stocking and rotation of ingredients.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure timely service of food and drinks.

Qualifications

* 1+ years previous experience as a bartender, cook, or in a combined role preferred.
* Knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and kitchen operations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Must meet local legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (kegs, boxes, kitchen supplies).
* Comfortable working in hot and fast-paced environments.
