Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to support a dual-site Emergency Medicine go-live across two facilities in North Carolina. This is a cross-credentialed opportunity providing access to both a community hospital ED and a freestanding emergency department, offering flexibility across shift types, patient acuity, and work environments.

This is a launch-driven engagement beginning mid-July with immediate demandAPPs who engage early will secure priority access to shifts across both sites.

Community Hospital ED Henderson:

• ~25,000 annual ED visits
• 20 ED beds
• Moderate-acuity environment with inpatient capabilities

Freestanding ED Louisburg:

• ~13,000 annual ED visits
• 12 ED beds
• Lower-acuity, high-efficiency environment
• Transfers supported through main hospital

Practice Environment

This is a system-based Emergency Medicine model designed for flexibility and efficiency.

• Physician-led team with APP integration
• APPs manage fast-track and mid-acuity patients
• Exposure to both community hospital and freestanding ED settings

This structure allows APPs to vary pace and acuity while maintaining consistent shift access .

Shift Structure

Henderson:

• 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• 12:00 PM 9:00 PM
• 5:00 PM 2:00 AM

Louisburg:

• 8:00 PM 6:00 AM (typical overnight APP coverage)

Final schedules will be confirmed closer to go-live.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
• Manage urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform procedures within scope including suturing, splinting, and incision and drainage
• Order and interpret diagnostics
• Collaborate with supervising physicians
• Provide efficient documentation within Paragon EMR

What Were Looking For

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active North Carolina license or in process
• DEA required

Certifications:

• ACLS, PALS required
• ATLS preferred

Experience:

• Emergency Medicine experience required
• Comfortable working across day, swing, and night shifts
• Ability to adapt across multiple clinical environments
