- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations on research findings and material recommendations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in metallurgy, materials science, and related industries.
- Assist in qualifying new materials and suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations in material handling and testing.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in metallurgical engineering or materials science, with a focus on metallic alloys.
- Proficiency in material characterization techniques and equipment.
- Strong understanding of phase transformations, mechanical behavior, and corrosion of metals.
- Experience with materials modeling and simulation software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and present complex technical information.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
- Experience with data analysis and statistical methods.
- Familiarity with industry standards and specifications related to metallic materials.
