Remote Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Remote Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee and optimize warehouse activities. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage operations from a distance. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence through effective remote supervision and process improvement. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to manage teams and coordinate logistics effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff remotely, setting performance goals and providing regular feedback.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
• Develop and implement procedures to optimize receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Manage the efficient utilization of warehouse space and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and operational guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that arise within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth flow of goods.
• Analyze performance data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Train and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational activities.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven experience managing warehouse processes (receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping).
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and related technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams remotely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to develop and implement operational improvements.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Must be comfortable working in a fully remote capacity.
