Management Consultant - Operations Strategy

Our client, a prestigious management consultancy, is seeking an experienced Management Consultant specializing in Operations Strategy to join their dynamic team. This role is based out of our **San Antonio, Texas, US** office and offers a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility while fostering team collaboration. You will be instrumental in advising clients across various industries on optimizing their operations, enhancing efficiency, and driving sustainable growth. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of operational frameworks, and the ability to develop and implement practical, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client engagements focused on improving operational performance, supply chain management, and business process re-engineering.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of client operations to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for strategic improvement.
• Develop tailored operational strategies and implementation roadmaps to meet client objectives.
• Collaborate closely with client leadership and teams to implement change initiatives and ensure successful adoption.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports, findings, and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering their professional development.
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative operational models.
• Contribute to the development of the firm's intellectual capital and service offerings in operations consulting.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in management consulting or a related strategic/operational role within industry.
• Proven experience in operational strategy, supply chain optimization, process improvement, and/or performance management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and advise senior executives.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities and experience leading client engagements.
• Ability to work effectively in both collaborative and independent settings within a hybrid work environment.
• Proficiency in relevant analytical and modeling tools.
• Experience across multiple industries is a plus.
