Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the conceptualization, design development, and execution of sustainable urban planning and architectural projects.
  • Develop innovative design strategies that integrate renewable energy, water conservation, green infrastructure, and efficient transportation systems.
  • Mentor and manage a team of architects, urban planners, and designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
  • Collaborate with clients, government agencies, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary consultants to define project goals and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and master planning for complex urban developments.
  • Ensure design solutions adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED-ND, BREEAM Communities).
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, renderings, models, and specifications.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in sustainable architecture, urbanism, smart city technologies, and resilient design.
  • Present design proposals and project updates to clients and public forums.
  • Oversee project budgets and timelines for design phases.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field with a specialization in sustainable design.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in architectural design and urban planning, with a significant focus on sustainable development.
  • Licensed Architect (RA) or equivalent professional accreditation is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading design teams and managing complex, large-scale urban development projects.
  • Expertise in sustainable design principles, green building technologies, and climate-resilient strategies.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of urban planning theories, land use, and transportation planning.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams in a remote work setting.
  • A portfolio showcasing innovative and sustainable architectural and urban design projects.
