Project Manager, IT Infrastructure & Cloud Migration

Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing financial services firm, is actively seeking a seasoned Project Manager with extensive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects to join their team. This hybrid role, based in **Milwaukee, Wisconsin**, will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology initiatives. You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure.

Key responsibilities include defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders. You will develop detailed project plans, identify and manage project risks and dependencies, and allocate resources effectively. This role requires expertise in managing infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server deployments, data center consolidations, and, crucially, cloud migration strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

The Project Manager will lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among team members, vendors, and business stakeholders. You will track project progress, report on key milestones and deliverables, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors, and ensuring adherence to project management best practices and methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile) are critical.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years focused on cloud migration initiatives, is required. Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-phase projects with significant budgets and timelines is essential. Strong understanding of cloud technologies, networking concepts, and IT security best practices is necessary. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are crucial. This hybrid position requires collaboration at our **Milwaukee, Wisconsin** office.
