Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, train, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models, with a primary focus on computer vision tasks (e.g., image classification, object detection, segmentation, facial recognition).
- Research and implement novel AI/ML algorithms and techniques to address challenging business problems.
- Develop and optimize deep learning architectures using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Process and analyze large-scale image and video datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product managers, to integrate AI/ML models into production systems.
- Evaluate and benchmark model performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and computer vision research.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for AI/ML development and deployment.
- Mentor junior AI/ML engineers and share knowledge within the team.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions related to AI systems.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong emphasis on computer vision.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying deep learning models for computer vision applications.
- Expertise in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, OpenCV, scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, calculus, statistics, and probability theory.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ML Ops practices.
- Familiarity with data augmentation, model interpretability, and MLOps principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively in a remote environment.
