Our client is seeking dedicated and experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers with a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join their fully remote fleet. This is a unique opportunity for professional drivers who value flexibility and autonomy while maintaining a critical role in logistics and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods across designated routes, adhering strictly to all federal and state regulations, and ensuring timely deliveries. As a remote-first position, you will manage your schedule and routes within company guidelines, coordinating directly with dispatch and logistics teams via advanced communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on long-haul routes.
  • Transport a variety of goods and materials, ensuring proper loading, securing, and unloading.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment, documenting any issues.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) rules, speed limits, and weight restrictions.
  • Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and delivery documents using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, fleet managers, and customers regarding route status, delays, and delivery confirmations.
  • Manage personal schedule and route planning to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to HOS regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck interior and exterior.
  • Uphold the company's commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction in all operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Minimum of 3 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
  • Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
  • Proven knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Must possess own reliable transportation to and from designated starting points if applicable.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
