Job Description
Join a leading manufacturer in Akron, Ohio, as part of the shipping team responsible for preparing and moving industrial-sized AC units used in schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings. This position plays a critical role in ensuring units are functioning properly and shipped accurately to their destinations. If you are mechanically inclined and enjoy working in a team environment, this opportunity offers long-term growth and stability.

Responsibilities:
Use tools and tape measurer to prepare shipments
Read and follow blueprints to ensure accuracy
Operate a forklift and overhead crane safely
Work closely with team members to coordinate shipping
Ensure all units are prepared and shipped to correct destinations

Qualifications and Requirements:
Mechanically inclined with basic tool knowledge
Valid drivers license required
Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs
Experience operating a forklift or overhead crane a plus

The base salary range for this position is $35,360$37,440 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
