Our client, a renowned hospitality group with a portfolio of upscale establishments, is seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Pastry Chef to serve as a remote Culinary Consultant. This role is pivotal in developing and refining dessert menus, recipes, and presentation standards across multiple brands, all managed from a remote capacity. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing innovative pastry offerings, conducting virtual taste-testing sessions, and providing expert guidance on ingredient sourcing, costing, and quality control. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed recipe cards, training materials for kitchen staff, and conducting remote training webinars to ensure consistency and excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience (10+ years) in high-volume, fine-dining pastry operations, with a proven track record of menu development and execution. A background in culinary arts or pastry specialization from a reputable institution is highly desirable. Exceptional knowledge of classic and contemporary pastry techniques, sugar work, chocolate artistry, and bread making is required. You must possess outstanding communication skills, the ability to articulate complex culinary concepts clearly, and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
