Lead Remote Project Manager - Agile

Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Lead Remote Project Manager, specializing in Agile methodologies, to spearhead key initiatives within our fully remote organization. This leadership role demands exceptional expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), driving project success through efficient sprint planning, backlog management, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for guiding multiple project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance remote work culture, and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Key responsibilities include facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching Scrum Masters and team members, managing project portfolios, identifying and resolving impediments, and reporting on project status and key performance indicators to executive leadership. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of software development lifecycles and has successfully led numerous Agile projects, preferably in a distributed or remote-first setting. PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications are highly valued. Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills are crucial. You must be comfortable working independently and leading teams virtually, utilizing various collaboration tools and platforms. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
