This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of hands-on warehouse work, furniture handling, receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and basic computer/data entry tasks in a fast-paced but team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming furniture shipments
- Inspect incoming items for visible damages or missing pieces
- Label and organize incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Assist with inventory updates and basic data entry
- Pull and stage furniture for upcoming deliveries and customer pickups
- Safely move furniture using pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment
- Assist with warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Help maintain accurate inventory and warehouse locations
- Assist customers picking up items from the warehouse
- Work closely with warehouse team members to keep operations running smoothly
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and proper furniture handling techniques
- 1+ years of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience preferred
- Forklift or order picker experience preferred
- Comfortable using computers for basic inventory updates and data entry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Experience handling furniture or large, fragile items is a plus
- Ability to lift, move, push, or carry furniture and inventory throughout the workday
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- Full-time position (30-40 hrs weekly)
- MondayFriday
- Day shift hours
- No weekends required
- Additional overtime opportunities may occasionally be available
- $17$19 per hour depending on experience
