Job Description
As a Database Administrator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the performance of next-generation AI systems. Your expertise will directly influence how models learn and reason by providing high-quality, real-world input. This position is ideal for individuals with strong domain knowledge, as prior experience in AI is not required.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and optimize database performance for large-scale MySQL and PostgreSQL environments.
- Partner with the development team to design, implement, and maintain robust database structures.
- Develop, test, and manage data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard business-critical information.
- Monitor database environments to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database solutions with evolving business needs.
- Document database configurations, processes, and best practices to ensure operational transparency and continuity.
- Stay current with emerging SQL and database technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Advanced hands-on expertise with MySQL and PostgreSQL administration.
- Proven track record in database optimization and troubleshooting.
- Strong command of SQL for querying, scripting, and performance tuning.
- Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain complex technical information.
