Insight Global is seeking an Android QA Engineer for a leading supply chain technology client. This candidate will play a key role in a high-impact Global Engineering Organization (GEO) initiative, helping transition engineering into a core driver of innovation. They will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Android applications through hands-on testing, debugging, and collaboration with development teams. Execute manual test cases for Android mobile applications
Design and maintain test cases for complex mobile user flows
Conduct API testing to validate backend integrations
Run regression testing within CI/CD pipelines
Debug application issues using ADB, Logcat, and Android Studio tools
Test across real devices and emulator configurations
Investigate crashes, ANRs, and performance issues
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality and release stability
Validate application behavior under varying network conditions
Contribute to improving QA processes as part of a growing engineering org

Manual testing experience with native Android applications
Strong understanding of ADB, Logcat, and Android Studio fundamentals
Experience testing on real Android devices and emulators
API testing experience (REST endpoints, validation, debugging)
CI/CD pipeline exposure with regression test execution
Strong test case design skills for mobile workflows
Deep understanding of Android permissions, app lifecycle, and background behavior Experience with Appium or Maestro for mobile end-to-end automation
Familiarity with Espresso or UI Automator (Android-native automation)
Experience using Firebase Crashlytics and handling ANR/crash investigations
Network condition testing (offline mode, weak connectivity, reconnection scenarios)
Knowledge of local database/cache validation
Experience testing camera or scanner-based features
