Job Description

We are seeking a highly technical Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Security team. This role is responsible for protecting the organizations infrastructure, systems, endpoints, cloud services, and data through proactive monitoring, incident response, security engineering, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity alerts, threats, and incidents.
  • Investigate suspicious activity and coordinate incident response efforts across systems, endpoints, and cloud platforms.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain security technologies and controls.
  • Perform threat detection, vulnerability management, and remediation tracking.
  • Support security operations including endpoint security, email security, web security, identity security, and network access controls.
  • Conduct log analysis, threat hunting, and forensic investigations when necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, and application teams to improve security posture.
  • Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments.
  • Evaluate emerging threats and recommend security improvements and mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in after-hours incident response activities when required.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or security engineering.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Windows environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, and endpoint management.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with:
    • Incident Response
    • Endpoint Detection & Rendering (EDR)
    • Vulnerability Management
    • SIEM and log analysis
    • Identity and Access Management
    • Email security technologies
    • Zero Trust concepts
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple security initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
