We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our nursing home in Beacon Rehab and Nursing. As an RN in our facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Key Responsibilities:




  1. Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans and ensure that residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met.




  2. Medication Management: Administer medications, monitor their effects, and maintain accurate records of medication administration in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.




  3. Wound Care: Provide wound care, dressings, and other treatments as needed, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care.




  4. Health Monitoring: Continuously monitor and record vital signs, assess changes in residents' conditions, and communicate any concerns to the healthcare team.




  5. Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse aides, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care to residents.




  6. Health Education: Educate residents and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their overall well-being.




  7. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions, following established protocols.




  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility standards.




  9. Compliance: Adhere to state and federal regulations, nursing standards, and best practices to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.




Qualifications:



  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Strong clinical and assessment skills.

  • Compassion and empathy for elderly residents.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

  • Knowledge of nursing home regulations and protocols.
