Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead daily operations and drive success at our Smoothie King location. This is an opportunity for a career-minded professional looking to grow with our team and make a lasting impact. The store manager is required to regularly and customarily exercise discretion in managing the overall operation of the store. In particular, a majority of the time is spent supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions (i.e., hiring, training, evaluating, coaching, staffing and scheduling), ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing the store’s financial performance, and managing safety and security within the store. Our managers are responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Smoothie King’s principles.


Leadership & Team Development:

  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and develop partners (employees).
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews
  • Create a positive, inclusive environment and foster a strong team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company policies
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach


Operations & Financial Management:

  • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock.
  • Manage labor costs, cash handling, and financial reporting.
  • Drive sales, profitability, and manage store budgets.
  • Support the Store Owner in achieving business goals, implementing company standards, and driving profitability
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of P&L, labor management, and cost control


Customer Experience & Quality

  • Ensure the delivery of the Smoothie King "Service Experience" and high product quality.
  • Connect with customers and build community presence.
  • Monitor and coach on service standards and operational excellence.


Strategic Planning:

  • Implement new products, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Analyze business metrics to identify improvements and achieve store goals.

Core Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability, self-motivation, and passion for coffee and community.
  • Experience in retail or food service management (often 3+ years).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of team building and staff development
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to multitask effectively
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
