Stocker

Beefbar is an upscale fine dining establishment known for its exceptional cuisine and superior customer service. We are seeking a diligent and organized Stocker to join our team and ensure that our kitchen and bar areas are well-supplied and efficiently managed.

As a Stocker at Beefbar, you will be responsible for maintaining adequate inventory levels, organizing storage areas, and ensuring that all departments have the supplies they need to operate smoothly. Your role is crucial in supporting the seamless operation of our kitchen and bar.

• Receive and unpack incoming deliveries, verifying accuracy and quality
• Stock shelves, coolers, and storage areas with incoming products
• Rotate stock to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory management
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to management
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts
• Ensure proper labeling and dating of all stored items
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to understand stocking needs
• Assist in maintaining par levels for all supplies
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with other departments as needed during busy periods

• 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or stocking, preferably in a restaurant setting
• Knowledge of food safety and proper storage techniques
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Basic math skills for inventory calculations
• Familiarity with inventory management systems a plus
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, and weekends
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Manual dexterity to handle various types of products and packaging
