General Manager / Shop Supervisor / Operations Manager is required to lead a busy rotating equipment repair operation, overseeing steam turbines, multistage compressors, and large industrial valves, including teardown, overhaul, and machining operations. This role is perfect for an experienced leader with a background in managing teams working on the full lifecycle of turbine and compressor repairs.

You will also be focused on expanding business opportunities while maintaining top-tier quality and service across all projects.

• $150,000 to $180,000 base salary

General Manager / Shop Supervisor / Operations Manager Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all operational aspects of a rotating equipment repair shop, including mechanical teardown, overhaul, and machining for steam turbines, compressors, and valves.
• Oversee the full scope of operations, from repair and machining to project delivery.
• Drive business growth through new opportunities and client relationship management.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage financial aspects, including budgets, forecasts, and operational costs.
• Ensure top-quality service and adherence to industry standards in every project.

General Manager / Shop Supervisor / Operations Manager Requirements
• 5+ years of leadership experience in mechanical, industrial, or rotating equipment repair industry or a related mechanical field (service manager, operations manager, plant manager, shop manager)
• Proven ability to manage teams and oversee complex turbine, compressor, and valve projects.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
