Axia Care Center is seeking experienced Ventilator Nurses (RN/to join our high-acuity clinical team. This role is mission-critical to delivering safe, compliant, and patient-centered care to ventilator-dependent residents in a fast-paced subacute setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ventilator-dependent residents in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols

• Monitor ventilator settings, respiratory status, and patient responses

• Perform trach care, suctioning, and related respiratory interventions

• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and emergencies

Qualifications

• Current RN or license (New Jersey)

• Ventilator experience required (subacute, LTACH, or skilled nursing preferred)

• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently while supporting team-based care

• Commitment to quality outcomes, compliance, and professionalism
