Job Description
**CDL Garbage Truck Driver - Shreveport, LA** **Starting Pay:** $23/hour **Pay Schedule:** Every Friday - no waiting around. **Overtime:** Anything over 40 hours a week gets you time-and-a-half Waste Connections is hiring CDL Drivers at our Shreveport hauling site. In this role, you'll operate a garbage truck to safely and efficiently service commercial and/or residential routes. We're looking for someone who puts safety first and takes pride in doing the job right. **What You'll Do:** + Operate a garbage truck on assigned routes + Collect waste or recycling from local businesses or homes + Work in all weather conditions + Deliver dependable service with a safety-first mindset **Schedule & Pay:** + Monday - Friday + Start time: 3:00 a.m., working 9-10 hours a day + $23/hour starting pay, weekly pay **Requirements:** + A Class A or B CDL with no manual restrictions + 1+ year of Waste Industry experience + A clean driving record and strong safety awareness **Why work for Waste Connections?** + Yearly Boot Stipend + Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits + Matching 401(K) up to 5% _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
