Job Description

A CT Technologist opportunity is available at a 523-bed, full-service acute care medical and surgical hospital in Gainesville, FL — a Joint Commission–accredited facility certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and designated as an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology (ACC), as well as a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery and Bariatric Surgery.

The role. Working under the direction of a Radiologist, the CT Tech performs radiologic and CT scan procedures at a technical level that requires no constant supervision of technical detail. This position calls for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying prescribed ionizing radiation across a variety of examination types. The technologist assumes responsibility for designated areas and procedures and performs examinations on patients spanning all age groups, from neonate to geriatric.

What we're looking for.

  • One year of CT experience required (acute care experience is not required)
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School
  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Schedule. Multiple shift options are available, including evenings (11a–11p, Fri–Sat–Sun), days with weekends only, and nights with rotating weekends, all in shifts greater than 10 hours.

Compensation. $29.56 - $36.95/hr plus $25,000 sign-on bonus
