A CT Technologist opportunity is available in Atlantis, FL at a 558-bed acute care facility recognized as a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, an American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center, an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program, and a certified Ventricular Assist Device program, with services spanning emergency care, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedics, spine care, bariatrics, behavioral health, and obstetrics.
The role. The CT Technologist works across inpatient and outpatient settings, operating CT scan equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric. Core responsibilities include determining the most suitable anatomical positioning and shielding for each patient, obtaining informed consent, preparing patients, and clearly explaining procedures before imaging begins. The technologist collaborates with physicians and imaging staff as needed, practices aseptic and sterile technique throughout all procedures, and adheres to infection control measures specific to the CT department. Accurate and timely documentation is completed immediately following each case.
What we're looking for.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
- One year of experience in performing CT preferred
- Florida State DOH General Radiographer and ARRT CT Registry or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire
Schedule. Full-time; Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Compensation. $30.34 - $42.47/hr plus $20,000 sign-on bonus
